Eco-life Foundation Inc. (EFI) was established in 2004 and has been developing and engaging in the past 20 years in various sustainability projects in the Philippines.
It is committed to providing learning opportunities to encourage sustainability practices in the country.
The term Eco-life in the corporate name of EFI means “living an ecology-friendly life” which Eco-life hopes all Filipinos will adopt as a lifestyle.
The Eco-life Sustainability Seminars (Eco-Seminars) are learning content on various sustainability, leadership and management topics delivered online.
Eco-life Foundation Inc. (EFI) produces these seminars as part of its corporate objectives to increase sustainability awareness of citizens and residents of the Philippines, upgrade the knowledge of sustainability advocates and leaders, and promote the practice of sustainability in organizations in various sectors and communities in the Philippines using effective leadership and management concepts and skills.
The United Nations Brundtland Commission in 1987 defines sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
